Sports Development

The Sports Development Unit for Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is based at Larne Leisure Centre. Below are a number of the services the unit offers.

Grants & Athlete Support

Financial support is offered to athletes (participating at an Excellence Level), local Coaches, for Regional Events and New Clubs.

The ‘Goldcard’ Scheme also assists local talented athletes and their training programme. Offering reduced rates at Larne Leisure Centre – this scheme is aimed at athletes competing at an Excellence Level.
